How it was did: The pencilled originals were digitized using a cheap Visioneer scanner, and enhanced in that astonishing bargain ($29), Expert Color Paint. The renderings of Mo, Cheetah, Ranma et al. are mine, not scanned from their own books (or even directly copied from any one panel).

I'm not really satisfied with the look of the computer typeface, but scans of my own lettering were difficult to read. As partial compensation, the typeface is one I designed in Fontographer based on my own handwriting. All of this was done on a Macintosh.
