Verduria became a kingdom in 2941, when Caleon embarked on the expansion that led to Verduria's present-day extent.

The word fetöra, by the way, derives from Caďinor peťuera 'division', a nominalization of peťen 'divide'. When the Caďinorian empire fell, its individual provinces tended to become separate kingdoms.
