So, when is the Historical Atlas going to be up? It sounds like it should be interesting. What years does it cover and how many maps are in it? Thanks.
I think I'd better not give a date, for fear of embarrassing myself. It should be soon, since my plan is to put up 10 or so maps, and then add 2 a week till it's done. The initial maps are drawn (redrawn, really) and the corresponding text updated. The biggest obstacle is that I have to write the Javascript to allow page navigation.
It covers the years -25,000 to 3480, and has -- hmm, I never counted them before -- 49 maps.
